Silk, being a sensitive natural fibre, is vulnerable to harsh lighting. Direct exposure can degrade its sheen and vibrancy over time. At the same time, manually operated lighting was inconsistent and led to energy waste, while the lack of mood definition across different times of the day diluted the overall brand experience.

Taneira needed a solution that was intelligent, aesthetic, and invisible—where lighting not only preserved but elevated both product and perception.

We introduced pre-defined lighting scenes like Morning Display, Afternoon Glow, and Evening Elegance, each crafted to enhance the mood and complement the fine textures of silk sarees under optimal lighting conditions. These scenes were programmed to operate on a time-based schedule, requiring no manual intervention once set.

Behind the scenes, smart retrofit devices were installed using existing infrastructure, ensuring zero structural modification. To provide flexibility, a sleek touch panel interface was added, allowing staff to override settings whenever necessary, without compromising the showroom’s visual elegance.
